Well, It's day 5 of my overseas placement with Thomas Cook and i really haven't had a moment to stop. My days have been filled with training, leading excursions and shadowing TC Managers. I spend most evenings at Faro Airport with our Ops Manager learning the in's and outs of that side of the business. Yesterday was my first night off (which coincided very nicely with the football!). Everyone out here is really nice and have been very welcoming.
The weeks ahead look jam packed. I'm organizing and playing in the Thomas Cook Golf Tournament next wednesday which i'm really looking forward to. Going on a Jeep Safari in the Mountains on Thursday and swimming with Dolphins in my final week. I've managed to talk a very attractive Portuguese girl into joining me on the Dolphin interaction. I can't imagine a more cheezy date but it should prove to be lots of fun!
