Savage Swing Laundry Day

I was listening to this song on my ipod and doing laundry earlier. When I came down to look up the video on Youtube I realized the girls in the video are doing laundry too!! I dunno if I look that cute though when I do it.. but I will let Alex dream :p

McCains brother is a Dick

John McCains brother is an idiot. He tells a 911 operator to fuck off and then calls back to complain! Why does every politician in history have an ass for a brother?? usually they are on drugs or alcohol but yeah.. :) That said, this is no way would ever sway me to change a vote if I were to be considering McCain.

The poem

I was told I should read a poem at my Gram's funeral and so I searched online forever for one that suited her and me. A lot of people asked where I got it from and I really do not know where it comes from and the --->author is unknown<---

I did change one line because it said, "look upon a flower and admire its simplicity," so I changed it to "look upon a Rose and admire its beauty," because my Gram's name was Rose. It was so fitting as well because she will be laid to rest at sea with my grandfather.

Here it is with my own punctuation and changes ( I never read poems so I put in the punctuations and spaces so I knew when I wanted to pause etc) :

To the living; I am gone

To the sorrowful; I will never return

To the angry; I was cheated

But... to the happy; I am at peace

And to the faithful; I have never left

I cannot speak, but I can listen

I cannot be seen, but I can be heard

So as you stand upon a shore, gazing at the beautiful sea

Good trip home

I went back to the bay area to spend some time with my family, albeit briefly, like 3 days literally. I got to go on a walk with my niece who loved pulling my pony tail and screaming sounds of excitement in my ear most of the time.

It was good to be with my family this weekend and Alex and I really both miss them all. Good thing our real trip has not happened yet and we will be heading back in a few weeks to see them all again and see friends this time too.

Rock Rant

I don't like Kid Rock that much and so to hear his new song out, All summer long, REALLY urked me. The main reason.. well it sucks balls frankly.

The second most important reason.. everyone thinks it is Sweet Home Alabama... ONLY A TINY TINY PORTION IS SWEET HOME ALABAMA. The main part you hear that everyone thinks is sweet home, is actually "Werewolves of London." I don't know why it pisses me off so much but even before Kids song, these songs sounded familiar and to mix the two REALLY MAKES ME ANGRY grr. Anyway, please listen and educate yourself so you don't sound like a dumbass and say I love Sweet Home Alabama, when you are actually mostly listening to a different song.

This is my Gram

She was beautiful. I am going to miss her a lot but I am happy she is at rest now.

She was pretty cool. Don't feel like elaborating as of now... To quote the simpsons: "She put the ass back in assisted living." She was gorgeous.
