Women are like apples on trees...
The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
Now Men....
Men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner
with.
I think a lot of fellas don't value the cool qualities in girls. By cool I mean intelligence, depth, strength, etc. I've actually had a guy friend of mine tell me that guys often want a girl who props up their own egos, for example, by laughing at their jokes, acting all interested in what they're saying, etc. Often times I really can't understand why guys go after some of the girls that they do. But anyway, their priorities leave some pretty cool gals manless, while the most vapid, shallow, and boring gals have an abundance of boyfriends.
To wrap this up, there isn't necessarily something wrong with a girl just because guys aren't recognizing the cool qualities in her. You are pretty cool, but I can tell, some of your qualities are threatening to some guys. The sarcasm and intelligence are two I can think of. Don't lose these qualities, dumb down, or start acting submissive, vacuously laughing at guys' lame jokes just because people tell you that you must desperately snag a man. It's not worth it, and that'd suck if you started being lame. Hold out, there is a minority of cool guys I think, and the lamos really are not worth compromising yourself for for.
