Many go through my mind...
1. is it his attention, or just the attention
2. some is better than none
3. life is just a matter of coincideces
4. what you want might not be what you need
5. and one more, rollercoasters are fun, just be careful to pick one you can handle, because puking on them is never fun

Well Megan and Heidi think we need to reduce the amount of intake on the alcohol. We had a little "team meeting" about it in my office on Friday. The terms have still yet to be written. They are thinking limitting it to once a week and special occasions.
Now I ask, why?
Their two reasons:
a. it's hard on the body and we are getting too old
b. too much damn money
As for (a), you two might be old, but come on... we can handle it. Also, when else are we going to have jobs that allow us to roll in when we need to, or take off a little early, or even sit in a zone and focus on holding it together?
Ok (b). Now yes, we have these great jobs with flexiblity, and I know they really are not conducive to a lavish lifestyle. As long as I have a few bucks in my pocket and a small emerge fund... what else am I going to spend my money on? Clothes? Electronics? Luxury vacations? Vacations are nice and all, but if I'm stuck at home every night staring at the walls, I'm going to NEED a vacation every two weeks.
Wow, this post makes me sound like such the alcoholic. I know, we just need to find ANOTHER hobby. But then again... hobbies are for those that have the 2.5 kids and an SUV. Today is the time for me. While I have no attachments, no real responsibilities, and still have my girlish smile I think I deserve to live my 20somethings to the fullest and look back and say... CHEERS!
So... why are our guests so polite? No, that's not what Heidi wanted to say, even though she pretends. She really wanted to steal my line "why are our guests always more sober than us?" Well our local bar treated us well. Even though Heidi didn't have enough for a tip, she still had her phone number. Now I know that doesn't quite translate to the humor that we found in the comment (whore) but it works for now. ;o) Yes Heidi, I called you a whore. Best part of the night... leaving and the bartenders saying goodbye to us personally, and then the WHOLE bar joining in and cheering for us. It was great! Oh, and please visit Heidi's website. She's way jealous and wanted to "blog this." Stop the whining you whore, but thanks for letting me use your computer to write this! Love you!
So I removed last night's post. If you are interested in it, maybe I'll email it to you... eh...
Thanks Giang for your comment, thought I almost got away with an impulsive post without anyone getting a glimpse. *HUGS*
So I'm too lazy to actually write the story about Yosemite... go figure! So I sorta gave a brief overview through the captions. I would just enter the Yosemite gallery and hit slideshow... enjoy.
Well I got my oiled changed on Friday and when I rolled up all the guys were around a car pulled just out of the garage. The driver of the car was standing there hosing the engine. I didn't think much of it as I was talking to the guy checking me in, but all of a sudden the guys (about 8 of them) scattered screaming. A possum jumped out of the guy’s hood and scurried into the garage. I haven't seen men in a "manly" profession like that scream like little girls before. They chased the little guy into a broom closet, and being the guys they are (idiots) ended up letting him out of the closet area and he jumped down into the pit where they change the oil. Whoops. One guy looked really pale and claimed he would never go down there again. I think he was the same one that was looking up animal control numbers in the yellow pages too.
Lesson learned... when the guys at Jiffy Lube are preoccupied with a possum, they don't try to "sell" you an air filter.
Just a friendly payback for my friend Megan. :o)
If the mood hits me I'll write about my jaunt to Yosemite. (or you can take a look at Heidi's entry). Expect pictures soon though. Oh, and has anyone else ever wondered if any of the Golden Girls ever hooked up, or just my dork of a roommate?
I'm not afraid
Of anything in this world
There's nothing you can throw at me
That I haven't already heard
I'm just trying to find
A decent melody
A song that I can sing
In my own company
I never thought you were a fool
But darling look at you
You gotta stand up straight
Carry your own weight
These tears are going nowhere baby
You've got to get yourself together
You've got stuck in a moment
And now you can't get out of it
Don't say that later will be better
Now you're stuck in a moment
And you can't get out of it
I will not forsake
The colors that you bring
The nights you filled with fireworks
They left you with nothing
I am still enchanted
By the light you brought to me
I listen through your ears
Through your eyes I can see
And you are such a fool
To worry like you do
I know it's tough
And you can never get enough
Of what you don't really need now
My, oh my
You've got to get yourself together
You've got stuck in a moment
And you can't get out of it
Oh love, look at you now
You've got yourself stuck in a moment
And you can't get out of it
I was unconscious, half asleep
The water is warm 'til you discover how deep
I wasn't jumping, for me it was a fall
It's a long way down to nothing at all
You've got to get yourself together
You've got stuck in a moment
And you can't get out of it
Don't say that later will be better
Now you're stuck in a moment
And you can't get out of it
And if the night runs over
And if the day won't last
And if our way should falter
Along the stony pass
And if the night runs over
And if the day won't last
And if your way should falter
Along this stony pass
It's just a moment
This time will pass
Well I didn't get to go to Sydney, but at least Megan was thinking about me! Thanks Buss!
Last night at our "corner bar" where apparently everyone IS going to know our name, Jason our fabulous bartender told us the following:
"Oh yah, there's cute straight couples that come in here and I'll go out there with her and she'll check me out. And then he will check me out and she gets mad and they have to leave. Gotta love California where the straight boys are gayer than the gay boys."
