Hey everyone, go to this link and help describe me. :o) It's a pretty cool link and takes like two minutes.
Thanks!
Well, people have asked what the heck was wrong with me and why I have been a little MIA. I missed a week of work due to high fevers and a mysterious rash. It was horrible because no one could give me a straight answer, until I saw a woman. :o) So my diagnosis was either an allergic reaction to the original antibiotic or a inflammatory reaction to being sick in the first place. They really couldn't tell which it was so they decided to treat both and did a bunch of blood work & a urine test. I haven't heard news about any of the tests. Anyway, since I showed pictures of my ankle when I messed it up, I thought I would share some pictures of my cool swollen limbs and redness.
The rash pretty much disappeared when I got diagnosed. I think a lot of it had to do with the stress of not knowing what was going on with my body. It was only on my legs and arms. Someone thought I had the measles or that hand, foot, mouth thing. WebMD sure can put a lot of thoughts in your head! I feel better now. All I have to do is get hydrated again and get my energy back up so I can train!
Hello boys and girls. Today will be a lesson on what I learned from Kaiser. Now I'm not going to get into every last detail, but here we go.
1. When checking in at Garden Grove Kaiser, go to floor three.
2. The Garden Grove office will smirk at you when they say... oh... it could be mono or HIV but I'll just give you these antibiotics.
3. Huntington Beach Kaiser treats you much better, but make sure you see a doctor or RNP that MAKES the group photo or he will tell you... high fevers of 103? Mustn't be anything much. Give it 5-7 days.
4. If you want real answers see a woman four days later... and take your mom.
5. Real answers (co-pay, drugs, & lab) will cost you $50.
6. If you need blood drawn, go to Huntington Beach, they will try to distract you while they draw the blood.
7. If you need to pee in TWO cups, always make sure you have the second cup ready.
